This effect is optimized by leading the water directly along the U.V. bulb in a thin layer. The Cal Pump Premium Ultraviolet Clarifier will ensure crystal clear water while providing a healthy aquatic environment for both fish and plants. Install this unit as an inline, stand-alone feature on the included base or place the light tube in your Cal Pump CPS Biological Filter. Use the clarifier continuously during the pond season to maximize the effective life of the bulb and to achieve the best possible water clarity. The effective life of the U.V. bulb, when used in constant operation, is 7,500 burning hours or one complete season.
